David Mascha
http://www.davidmascha.com Biography
I started doin' graffiti about 6 years ago, I was always fascinated by colours and designing walls and all kinds of surfaces, after some years I wanted to use what I learned on another medium. I began doin' stuff on the computer, after a while I got curious about all the programs and possibilities to develop my skillz so I ended up studying multimedia design on an university near Vienna. After I graduated I got a job in Vienna in a small design studio, I've been workin' there for 2.5 years getting more practical skillz and getting to know the industry a little better. Right now I'm workin as a freelancer focusing on more creative and artistic works. Aside from that i'm still doing my own projects, trying to start a clothing label and graffiti of course.
Where do you work? What do you do there?
Right now I'm workin' at home, because it's the most comfortable way for me as well as deciding when and what i'm doing. Recently I've been doing some corporate identity projects and illustrations for various clients. One project I want to mention here is for a art gallery here in Vienna, there are goin' to be 4 major exhibitions each year and happy to say that there's goin' to be also some of my works shown. What I really like about this project is that I'm having a lot of artistical freedom since it is for an art gallery.
How long have you been in this field?
After almost 3 years workin' in an agency I'm workin' from home now for about 6 months now.

Who's work do you most enjoy?
Too many to mention them all here, but since i'm a member of the depthcore artgroup
with a lot of other talented artists I get a lot of inspiration and enjoyment there.
What advice can you share to people just getting into this field?
Lots of people probably already said that, its just important to love what you do and believe in yourself, try to develop something different and theres so many things out there to get inspired from.
Any other comments?
