Biography

My name is Mauro Gatti, I live and work in Milan (Italy), I love to doodle since my youth so I decided to keep on drawing and see if I could make a living out of it. It's not very easy, especially when you have an agency and a lot of problems to solve on a daily basis, but I feel like I'm having fun and this is the most important thing to me.

Where do you work? What do you do there?

I'm the co-founder and art director of a small creative studio in Milan called MUTADO. I work mainly on motion design, design and print projects but my love is all for illustration.

How long have you been in this field?

Almost 10 years.

What role did (are) you play(ing) in the project?

At theBrainbox, I use the space to showcase all my funniest or craziest illustrations made for fun or for clients.

What was (is) your inspiration for this project?

I love people like Raymond Savignac or Seymour Chwast, they are gods to me and my main goal is to be as much creative as I can to spread some fun in this world. I think that people really deserve to smile!
