http://www.nietylko.net Biography
I've been impacted by graphic design about 5 years ago. I'm working with Photoshop since version 4 but the real fascination started few years ago. My first real job was during the high school – I was an editor in several magazines, writing about computer games (previews, reviews etc.). I thought I should study journalism or something common to writing but… I wasn't thinking about that too much ;) and focused on computers and digital art.
Where do you work? What do you do there?
In June 2007, after four years of being employed, I become full-time freelancer. I do every graphic works possible but I'm focused on the covers, posters and every piece of art which contains illustration. I do logotypes, webdesigns, identification but the illustration is my favorite discipline.
How long have you been in this field?
I'm working since 2003, but obviously my fascination wasn't only about the work. More about the art so I'm experimenting with everything since I remember.
What role did (are) you play(ing) in the project?
I prefer being as much creative as I can but also having absolute freedom. It's not possible in the every project, but when things about going nuts…. I love them :). And the pros (and cons) of being freelancer is that you can play the whole roles at the same time!
What was (is) your inspiration for this project?
None given.
What is in your equipment/gear setup?
Well I won't be original if I say I'm working with Adobe Creative Suite (3). It's somehow weird, because it's still about the imagination and even if some new features are cool you have to do much more than just use them. So I love doing researches, looking for a perfect photo or scanning absolutely weird things. The hardware I'm working on is Dual Core 2 PC with 2GB Ram and 19" CRT monitor plus Intuos3 tablet.

Who's work do you most enjoy?
Everybody's! For sure, I like what people are doing and it's no matter if it's commercial or not – it has to be intriguing, no matter how, when or where.
What advice can you share to people just getting into this field?
Be very patient, never give up. If you are studying/at school – use every moment for practicing, do you own research, find your own place in this kind of art before other impacts you too much. Be open for everything, everybody – look as wide as possible and you will never stop evolving. For me it's always not about being good (designer), but better!
Any other comments?
