Guillaume Séguin
http:/lastsoundtrack.fontspace.com Biography
My name is Guillaume Séguin, and I was born in Canada's capital city, Ottawa (Ontario). At the age of 12 I moved to Grenville, a small village in Quebec, Canada. I speak both English and French, but my main language is French. At a young age I started drawing a lot and that continued through High School. After graduating from High School, I went to do a college degree in Visual Arts. I won the award for being the most creative student in that course. But, I soon realized that there was no good jobs for artists in my region, so then I decided to complete another college degree in Multimedia (graphic design, web design, animation, movie editing etc.) At the age of 22 I finally graduated from that college to go get a job as a Lead Graphic designer at an ad agency called Studio de Lettrage. While working there, I noticed that I always put a big importance on the fonts I chose and sometimes, I couldn't find the font i specifically needed. I read a little on the Internet on how to create fonts, and after a week I was creating my first font.
All the fonts I create, have all one point in common, they are influenced by one of my passion: Rock Music. Music is really important to me and I always create fonts while listening to music I like. My main style of tunes I listen to is Post Hardcore. My favorite bands are: Alex is on Fire, Maylene and the sons of disaster, bullet for my valentine, my chemical romance, Atreyu and A day to remember.
