Biography

I am a 28 year old Danish designer and motion director. I love my work as a designer and I constantly push myself to become better.

I think it all started when I was a kid. Like other kids I spent a lot of time drawing and playing computer games. I used to "hack" AMIGA games and draw my own gaming elements using Deluxe Paint. 10 years later I picked up Flash and Photoshop and started experimenting again. I have attended design courses and a design school where I earned a BA in interaction design and a MA in graphic design. Since then I have been doing all kinds of design related work, working in the industry and now running my own design studio ANOVA.

Where do you work? What do you do there?

I have my own motion design studio ANOVA where I do concept, design and production work for all kinds of moving images including commercials, title sequences, television idents, promos, visual effects ect.

How long have you been in this field?

I have spent roughly 10 years in the field of design, working mainly with interaction design and graphic design. I have only just recently made the move into motion design where my entire focus is right now.

What role did (are) you play(ing) in the project?

I am the concept developer, designer, director, animator and programmer on all material on my website except for some commercial projects I made while working as a visual effects artist at Absolute in London. I like taking part in the entire design process involving concept development, design direction and production.

What was (is) your inspiration for this project?

I am constantly looking for inspiration everywhere and I rarely keep track of where it comes from.

What is in your equipment/gear setup?

I currently have a Mac Pro 8-core running Vista 64. For production I use Adobe and Autodesk products like most people. Until recently I had a 5 year old worn-out Dell Inspiron 5150 laptop on which I did all my work.
